The owl class explores nature

In the last month, the second graders had the chance to study nature in its various fields. They got to explore birds, mammals, insects and plant life with all its variety.

Which animals hibernate? Where do birds go in winter? What layers does the forest have? How are trees structured? Why are trees that important? Which tree records are there?

All these questions were tackled and answered through a project-oriented approach, illustrated with different mediums. As time went on, the kids got a better sense of our huge responsibility towards nature.
Finally, they got the opportunity to show their creativity by building a bird feeding station and creating a display of the structure of a tree.
That’s how learning can be fun.
