This year, the third grade reading night was all about exciting crime stories. Right at the start, the students were treated to a special adventure: equipped with headlamps, they hiked up the Göttweiger at dusk – the perfect way to get in the mood for an exciting night of crime stories.
Back at school, the two classrooms were comfortably furnished. With mattresses and sleeping bags, they were transformed into a large sleeping quarters in no time. After a pizza dinner together, the highlight of the evening awaited: the crime escape rooms. With team spirit, combinatorial skills, and a dose of thrills, the children solved tricky puzzles and immersed themselves in mysterious cases.
The next morning began with a hearty breakfast, to which everyone had contributed. Morning exercise on the soccer field got everyone back into the swing of things.
The crime novel reading night was a varied, fun, and community-building experience for everyone involved. A big thank you to the dedicated team of teachers and students who worked together to prepare this special event!
