Visiting the City Library in St. Pölten and ORF Lower Austria

Recently, the 3rd grade had the opportunity to visit the City Library in St. Pölten. The students learned about the many possibilities that a modern library offers today. In addition to traditional tasks such as providing books and information, the digital services particularly impressed them. The library offers e-book lending, numerous online media, and digital learning tools that make reading and research easier at home.

In spring, the class will also participate in a special e-book reading project, further promoting reading skills and digital literacy.

After the library visit, the students headed to ORF Lower Austria, where they got a fascinating look behind the scenes of radio and television production. One of the highlights was being able to enter the actual studio used by presenters during live broadcasts. It was a very interesting and educational day for everyone!
