As part of their biology class, the 3rd grade visited the Natural History Museum in Vienna. The field trip served as an exciting conclusion to the unit on the evolution of life on Earth. The students were particularly impressed by the numerous fossils and the vivid insights into Earth’s history.
During a very interesting guided tour led by a geologist, the students learned a great deal about the formation of our planet and the evolution of life. As a special highlight, the children were then allowed to explore the museum on their own and pursue their interests.
This is how learning comes alive, leaves a lasting impression, and stays in their memories for a long time!
